Situated amidst mountains and around 3.5 hours of travel time from the north of Kunming, Ganhaizi Miao minority village is one of the poorest villages in Wuding County. Most villagers live in structurally unsafe houses that lack proper sanitary facilities. Safety of the villagers is threatened by the poor living environment.
Habitat for Humanity China is now recruiting volunteers to join the “Yunnan Ganhaizi Build”. This trip gives you more than a chance to make donation. You will be able to join hands with the Miao villagers to build homes and live with the homestay families! Let’s experience the Miao culture and enjoy a simple life in their village!
