Dear Colleagues:
An autonomous car is the main vision of the automotive industry for the next decade. In 2017, many OEMs started implementing intermediate milestones through advanced driver assistance (ADAS) functions to achieve a fully autonomous car. From the industry point of view, realizing the new technology with reasonable costs and reliability is a key requirement for deploying autonomous cars.
The upcoming “Automotive E/E Architecture China Conference 2017” to be held on the 25th-26th May. in Grand Millennium Shanghai HongQiao Hotel, has invited Mr. Akhilesh Kona to make a presentation that will provide an overview of the vehicle networking challenges and trends with a deep dive into ADAS sensor architecture evolution to support different levels of automated driving from L1 to L5. Mr. Akhilesh Kona covers the area of automotive electronics and semiconductor with a focus on autonomous cars, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and body electronics. He is primarily responsible for market research on sensors and semiconductors content including various technology trends and architectural developments in the field of autonomous cars. Before joining IHS, Akhilesh worked in the automotive semiconductor industry at Freescale Semiconductor and also on embedded systems for industrial automation at CMC Limited. Akhilesh has a Master's degree graduate in Electrical Engineering from Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
In addition, With the changes in the electronic hardware architecture of the vehicle, the architecture of the onboard system platform software will also be accompanied by innovations. The integration of virtualization and software containers will make digital cockpit and intelligent driving technology safer and more highly integrated. Mr. Alan Zhang, the General Manager of Blackberry BTS / QNX Greater China, will make a keynote presentation on the topic of “Next-generation Automotive Electronic Software System Architecture " that helps you to explore the development of embedded software platform for heterogeneous open structure of intelligent electric vehicle, Also Dr. Xinfeng Zhang, Doctor of Engineering, Assistant Dean, School of Automotive, Tongji University will also present on the "Developing Trends of Automotive Smart Electronic System" including automotive E/E architecture developing trends; Multi - level power supply system and power management; and intelligentization of automobile electric appliance and design of vehicle eetwork
