Hello!
Our fifties-inspired Kassia show “Martinis & Mistletoe” will hit the stage on the 14th and 18th this month – tickets are available from URBTIX and the Katterwall office. The show includes Jingle Bells, Frosty The Snowman, Baby (It's Cold Outside), The Man With The Bag and Little Saint Nick. The Island School show on 18th December will include en masse carolling and will be raising money in support of the Little Warrior Choir through the sale of mulled wine and mince pies.
Thank you to everyone who came to our Community Christmas Carols at the Lan Kwai Fong amphitheatre last month, attended by a vocal crowd of 180 people, it was a a great success all round!
The new year will see the start of Katterwall's SINGING CIRCLE for adults who would like to sing but don't want the pressure of being in a choir or even auditioning. See IN FOCUS for more details.
If you would like an audience to sing to, it's not too late to audition for the next Kassia Choirs terms. Kassia Women's Choir will be presenting “Soul Sister 2”, a programme dedicated to gospel and spiritual music at churches in March and Kassia Men's Chorus will be putting a programme of musical theatre favourites conducted by Andrew Swift in May. Drop Fani an email if you'd like to book a slot – auditions are quick and easy.

If your New Year's resolution is to get some more music into your life, or perhaps try something new, this could be just the thing! Lead by Bethan, the group will meet weekly to sing an eclectic mix of music with no pressure of performance, auditioning or learning anything off by heart. Just turn up and sing once a week – it's good for the soul!
