CCOHK's The Snowman & the Bear Meet two children soloists - Emma Kent (age 12) & Jamie Crosbie-Chen (age 10)
K: How long have you been learning singing?
E: I have been singing for 2 years.
J: I have been singing with choirs for about five years but I only started singing solos earlier this year after Bethan helped me to prepare for a Choir Camp run by the Artistic Director of the Vienna Boys Choir in Austria last summer.
K: How did you hear about this performance?
E: I heard about this performance from my violin teacher who is part of the orchestra.
J: Celia from Katterwall sent my mother an email about it.
K: What shows / performances have you done before?
E: I have sung as a backing singing in a TVB charity show and as the lead in a school musical Dear Edwina. J: I sang the role of Nipper from Fagin's Gang in performances of the musical Oliver which was performed at the People's Liberation Army theatre in Beijing in May 2008. I also had a small solo in a performance at the Augustin Palace in Vienna by the Vienna Boys Choir and the Dulwich College Shanghai Choir.
K: What is the most fun part singing in this production?
E: The experience, you don't get to do this everyday!
J: It's going to be a great experience to be on the same stage as Nuri Vittachi and the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong!
Another Katterwall student, Natalie Lu and Katterwall teacher Chen Yong (singing the Bear) will also be performing in this production.
