日常工作中該說「不」的時候很多,怎樣 ”Say No” 才是委婉有禮,能明示原則,又不讓顧客覺被冒犯呢?看以下2種 Say No 的情況:

.不懂時,就說「這不是我的強項」。

(得罪版)I am sorry I can't help you. (不好意思,我不能幫你。)

(有禮版)Sorry but that isn't my strong suit. Let me take you to my colleague, who is a professional and happy to help. (不好意思,那不是我強項。讓我帶你去找一位專業的同事,他很樂意幫助的。)

解釋:如顧客問一些商品知識或意見,卻非你所長,與其回答 ”I can't help” 這樣不近人情,不如用 ”that isn't my strong suit” 婉拒,讓顧客明白原因。並安排解決方法。

.預留機會,下次幫忙。

(得罪版)I'll think about it later. (我會考慮一下。)

(有禮版)I can't help right now, but I'm happy to help you with something else later. (這次不能為你效勞,但以後有機會的話,很願意在其他事情上幫忙。)

解釋:你樂意幫忙,但實在無暇兼顧,不妨誠懇告訴顧客你的意願。
