Austin Dog Alliance has rescued 12 - yes a whole dozen - puppies from Town Lake Animal Shelter.  They are 7 week old Australian Shepherd/Heeler/German Shepherd mixes.  Every puppy has a different color pattern, size and fur texture.  All are happy, healthy and adorable.  We are looking for foster homes and forever homes!

If you are new to fostering dogs, we will provide training, a crate, food bowls, leashes, collars, all vet care and a lot of support.  You provide love, food and some toys.  For more information, about adopting an Austin Dog Alliance dog or joining our rescue team, please see our website.

K9 Kids Club - Starts Nov. 6

The Sept/October session of K9 Kids Club is just about over.  We had two sold out classes!  This session we toured the animal hospital, learned about confirmation, agility, training, K9 police dogs, responsible care and having fun with our dogs.  Some of the highlights included sitting in the K9 police car and playing with 12 week old Golden Retriever puppies.  The kids also really enjoyed the Bring Your Dog classes.  Our K9 Kids learned how to walk their dog on a leash and some simple tricks.  The grand finale of the session will be a Halloween Party for dogs at Hearts and Paws in Cedar Park.

It's not to late to sign up for the next session.  But hurry - the classes will sell out!

The next session is from Tuesday, November 6 till December 18.  We will not meet during the week of Thanksgiving.  The time choices are 3:45 to 5:00 or 5:15 to 6:30.  We will meet at the indoor training facility at Romp N' Run Ranch in Leander.  Fee is $75 plus an optional $15 for a t-shirt.  Register Today!
