    We are looking for more loving foster homes.  Austin Dog Alliance provides all the vet care, the leash, collar, crate and training for you.  You provide the dog with food, toys and lots of love.  Opportunities currently exist to foster either young puppies or adult dogs.   Join our team - it's a ton of fun and very rewarding.

    Do you have a dog that loves kids?  Are you looking for a way to give back to the community on your schedule?  Do you want to make the difference in someone else's life? 

    Learn more about pet therapy at the Austin Dog Alliance Pet Therapy Seminars.  Learn how to obtain one million dollars in general liability insurance.  Learn how to train your dog to visit hospitals, nursing homes, schools and libraries.

    We have a wait list of schools, libraries and nursing homes that want pet therapy teams to visit.

    Saturday, January 12 at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter - Community Room in Georgetown

    K9 Kids Club Registration is Open

    We are gearing up for another fun session of K9 Kids Club.  Since so many kids want to repeat, we are offering 6 NEW topics again.  WOW!  Our topics for the upcoming session (February 12 - March 25) includes:

    • Bugs, Poop and Worms 
    • Give Your Dog (or a foster dog) a Bath
    • Travis County Search and Rescue K9 Team
    • Cart Pulling and Other Fun Dog Sports
    • Agility Tunnels, Ramps and Jumps 
    • In depth Study of Different Dog Breeds - German Shepherds, Beagles and More

    This session will be held at Griffith Animal Hospital in Cedar Park.  The time options are Tuesdays at either 3:30 or 5:00.  Pre-registration required

    Puppy Adoption and Micro Chipping Event

    Meet our adorable 7 week old puppies at Petco LaFrontera in Round Rock on Saturday, January 12 from 2 - 4.  The puppies are German Shepherd and or Border Collie mixes.  All will be ready for forever homes on January 18.  Deposits are being taken.   An adoption application is required.

    A vet tech will also be available to insert Home Again micro chips into your dog or cat.  A $10 insertion fee is payable to Austin Dog Alliance.  The registration fee payable to Home Again is $14.99.  No appointment needed.  Home Again chips can be scanned by all local vets and shelters.  This chip could save your pet's life!

    A special note about this event - Madison, a former K9 Kids Club student is helping with the planning and execution of this event so she can earn a Girl Scout award.  Austin Dog Alliance is proud to support the community efforts of our local kids.
