When Mithra discovered that Zhou was representing himself as a “partner” in Mithra 

and purporting to sell Mithra products, we sued him in United States District Court. 

 Zhou then filed for bankruptcy and we continued to pursue him there, as well.  

On September 5, 2012, the Honorable Peter Carroll, United States Bankruptcy Judge, 

entered judgment in favor of Mithra on its claim that Ben Nicholas Zhou infringed 

Mithra’s trademark, and that Zhou’s

conduct was willful and therefore not dischargeable in bankruptcy. 

Be advised that all Mithra needles are made exclusively for Mithra 

according to our exacting standards.  No one else can obtain tattoo 

needles from the same source as Mithra. Our company maintains 

registered trademarks within the United States of America, Asia, Australia, 

and most of Europe.

If you have any information that Ben Nicholas Zhou or any other unauthorized 

person is claiming to sell Mithra products, or is claiming to get their tattoo
