Job description plays an important role in Human Resource Management. It helps define and communicate clearly the role and responsibilities of one position to the incumbent and his colleagues in support to different HR activities such as recruitment, career planning, performance appraisal, job evaluation and compensation management, etc. This workshop aims to equip participants with practical know-how on writing effective job descriptions through an easy-to-understand and systematic approach.

Mr. Wilson Chu, Principal Consultant of HMI Consulting Limited, the Consulting Associate of the University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Baptist University, and also the Visiting Lecturer of SPEED of Polytechnic University on Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Human Resource Management. He was the Survey Manager (in Compensation & Benefits) of Watson Wyatt Hong Kong Limited and a senior consultant of Hong Kong Productivity Council. Mr. Chu has extensive consulting and training experience.
