Breakfast Seminar on Pay-for-Performance Strategies Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, Nov 22, 2007
We are proud to announce that the breakfast seminar on Pay-for-Performance Strategies hosted at Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC) on Nov 22, 2007 was completed with an overwhelming success.
The seminar, co-organized by HMI Consulting Limited and Success Factors, Inc. (NASDAQ:SFSF), aimed to provide the best practices on performance and compensation management to HR practitioners in Hong Kong. Mr. Wilson Chu, Partner & Senior Consultant of HMI Consulting Limited (photo above), shared the strategies on tying staff performance with compensation to help achieve business objectives, while Mr. Francis Chan, Director of Asia Pacific, SuccessFactors Inc., shared the IT perspective on talent and performance management to compromise the Pay-for-Performance strategies.

Unemployment Rate |
According to the latest labour force statistics released on 19 November 2007 by the Census and Statistics Department, the adjusted unemployment rate in August - October 2007 dropped to 3.9%, which is the lowest level since March - May 1998, in comparison with 4.1% in July – September 2007. Meanwhile, the underemployment rate increased from 2.2% to 2.3% with number of underemployed increased by around 1,700 over the same period.
