Workshop on Finance Management for Projects

Lecturer: Mr. Kong Kwok Wai

Mr. Kong is currently the Associate Lecturer of HMI Consulting Limited and has extensive finance experience acquired from roles he has held at major international investment banks in Hong Kong and New York.  He is the former Asia Pacific head of Transaction Review Function (Structured Products) at Barclays Capital.  Prior to joining Barclays Capital, Mr. Kong worked at the New York office of BNP Paribas structuring and managing financial products. Before his banking career, he worked as a project engineer at China Light and Power Company on numerous electricity power generation projects in Asia. Mr. Kong also frequently lectures at various organizations and universities in the area of quantitative Finance and product structuring.  He received an MBA with a focus in Finance from New York University. He also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
