The new Nintendo DSi console was released on 3rd April 2009. R4 team, who released the most popular flash card for DS Lite, is now BACK and created the R4i! Fake/Clone R4i cards
Please be careful when you are shopping for R4i cards! There are some fake (or clone) R4i cards out on the market, namely: R4i-SDHC (in Red Packing), R4i-Ultra, and Hyper-R4i (see photos below). Clones will still work on your DSi but it is not made by the people who originally brought you the popular R4 cards. The R4 team has invested a lot of resources in Research & Development and their official products are more reliable and stable. Clones usually have a high failure rate, or worse, non-upgradeable meaning the cards will become useless after Nintendo releases new firmware updates for the DSi console.
