DEKRA 2014 Refrigerator Energy Efficiency IEC 62552 Update Seminar was held in October, the tour seminar was held in Hefei and Guangzhou. Mr. Martien Janssen(Research Scientist in Re/genT; Member IEC, SC59M, MT2; UNEP Refrigeration Technical Options Committee; Consultant, CECED) , Ms. Wu Xiaoli(Senior engineer in Chinese Institute of Home Appliances) and Mr. Charles Chi(Appliances Manager from DEKRA South China) were invited to join the seminar and provide in-depth analysis on refrigerator energy efficiency testing, share the trends in the forefront of the regulatory information and technology industry. The seminar attracted totally more than one hundred of the industry elite from nearly fifty well-known international and local refrigerator enterprises. Through this seminar, DEKRA wants to help domestic enterprises to catch up with the standard changes and win in tough competition.

With the slow recovery of global economy and emerging markets, "Chinese manufacturing" has been broaden in the world, Chinese refrigerator manufacturing industry has also become the focus in global markets. There is extraordinary significance for the refrigerator manufacturers to have in-depth understanding of constantly updated regulations and standards of refrigerator products. During the tour seminar, the experts provide an in-depth analysis on IEC 62552 new global standard, helping customers to learn the change and development trend of the standard, and specify the latest European and international energy efficiency requirements and market access standard information. In Q & A session, participants raised a lot of questions for new requirements of the standards and the trend of development, apparently customers benefited a lot from discussion with experts.
