Opening Ceremony of the First Hawaii Week in Zhongshan

The First Hawaii Week in Zhongzhan was officially opened on 21st April. Our President delivered the opening speech introducing Hula and the Hawaiian culture to a captivating audience. This historical event is covered by the Zhongshan Broadcasting and Television Studio and South China Sea Communications.

We welcome Winnie, who is our new member from Tung Chung. Winnie was introduced to HKIHA by Stephanie.

Education event for students
|
|
Students from two international schools in Zhongshan had a chance to learn the art of Lei making and Hula during this educational event.
Graudate students from the Zhongshan University in Guongzhou were also thrilled to have their first exposure to Hula and the Hawaiian culture. They will be going to the University of Hawaii to study the IMBA programme later in September.
