Would you like your teachers and students to have a broader perspective of different cultures and widen their scope of extra-curricular activities provided by your school?  If yes, the Hong Kong International Hula Association (HKIHA) would like to invite your school to join an Introductory Hawaiian Dance and Cultural Workshop.

The Workshop will be conducted by Ms. Tiare Noelani Kaalina, who has been working as a hula schoolmistress and a cultural consultant in Honolulu, Hawaii, for the past 17 years.  With in-depth knowledge of Hawaiian culture and history, she constantly teaches hula dance to students in schools and also conducts workshops at the Bishop Museum in Honolulu, the largest museum in Hawaii.  Besides, her hula team also actively participate in the world-class hula competition, the Merrie Monarch Festival, in Hawaii for many years.  She is a well-known hula dance master herself and travels regularly to cities in Asia and the mainland US to conduct cultural seminars and dance workshops.  This workshop is organised by HKIHA as a complimentary service to the education community to introduce the beauty of Hawaiian dance in Hong Kong.

Please find attached a leaflet introducing the Hong Kong International Hula Association for your information and an enrolment form for free enrolment of a teacher representative from your school for your kind attention and consideration.  The deadline for enrolment is 12th October, 2012.  Please kindly return the enrolment form for the Introductory Hawaiian Dance and Cultural Workshop at your earliest convenience.
