Ke Ao Nani
|

Ke Ao Nani means the beautiful world. This song was written by Kawena Puku`i for children. The hula can be danced with different implements, `ili`ili, `ulï`ulï, or the ipu. As shown from the lyrics below, the hula is also suitable for practising basic hand motions.
Up, up above
Birds fly in the sky
Down, down
Flowers of the earth
Upland, up in the uplands
The grove of trees
In the sea, the sea
The fishes of the ocean
To learn the hula, you can enrol in our Saturday class at Central.

Tommy, our friend from Guangzhou, will be continuing his study for a Master in Accounting (MSA) in Ohio after graduating with an MBA from the University of Hawaii. He shared with us that “The life and study in Hawaii impressed me greatly. It seems that Hawaii has become my second hometown. I missed all the people there. Besides, now I can feel the love from the GOD more and more.”
All the best to you in your further education, Tommy, and God bless you!
