I'm giving the iMovie 09 Mac class tomorrow, Tue. Oct. 6, at my studio if you are interested. It's very easy to learn to take your digital movies from either your digital camera or your camcorder (new HD footage and old DV tapes too) and edit them into short clips for web viewing, or longer movies for DVD burning.
The new iPhone and Nano iPod can also take digital footage now so you can edit those too. iMovie has a nice "theme" feature to make it look better, faster. Please join me in tomorrow's class!
iWork 09 is coming up this Thurs. Oct. 8. This is Apple's Pages, Numbers, and Keynote (word, excel and powerpoint) but simpler to use and better graphics handling than Microsoft's Office. Pages is great for school reports and family newsletters; Excel can give you instant graphs for home expenses; and Keynote is intuitive for slideshows and school presentations.
