FIRST-CLASS KEYNOTE SPEAKERS KICK OFF THE TWO-DAY FORUM


The Minister of Ethiopia, Dr. Arkebe Oqubay and Mr. Tino Zeiske, SVP of METRO GROUP will kick off the forum on two separate days.  Mr. Zeiske will share with his audience his interpretation of the sustainable development of the fashion world following the G7 Summit and COP21, whilst Dr. Oqubay will showcase 
how Ethiopia can be the preferred destination for investment in the textile and apparel industry.


 

TPP & OBOR REVITALISING THE PACIFIC BELT AND THE SILK ROAD


How best we can gain from these two ‘mega-regional’ projects?  Mr. Christian Ewert of Foreign Trade Association from Belgium, Mr. Robert Sinclair of LF Sourcing, Mr. Jay Burdett of Sears and Mr. Alex Young of TexRay will make their points in this panel.  Facts about the development of the emerging sourcing regions will also be analysed.
      

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE

World Fashion Design Competition is international.  Fashion suppliers from all over the world are welcomed to participate in this international event.  Young or individual designers are encouraged to work with the suppliers/producers to apply for the Competition.
 

WHO ARE JUDGES

Renowned designers, chief editors of fashion magazines, senior executives of sourcing and product development of fashion brands and retailers will be invited to judge.  The jury list will be announced later this year.
