EDITOR'S NOTES News Digest 1.3.2015

After its debut in 2006, Prime Source Forum (PSF), which has become a must-attend event for senior executives of the global fashion industry will hold its 10th edition from 24-25th March this year at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong on Nathan Road, Kowloon. It will be our great honour to welcome you to participate in the Forum to exchange and mingle with participants from more than 20 countries.

This year, our main focus on the first day of the Forum will be on how the Millennials drive the future fashion retail scene and the response of senior executives on their sourcing strategies. On the second day, we will move into topics mattering our executives’ daily businesses, including offshore production in emerging countries, environment and sustainability issues, labour safety conditions and tax preferences benefited from trade agreements.

With the support of our industry experts, we are honoured to have the distinguished speaker, Mr. Adan Mohamed, the Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Industralisation and Enterprise Development from Kenya to offer a Keynote Address, in addition to high-calibre executives from multinational retailers/brands and manufacturers in four continents to join panel discussions. You may find more details about the programme and updated speaker list below.

It is the first time that PSF will collaborate with Global Apparel, Footwear and Textile Initiative (GAFTI) so closely. Their Board Members will guide us to the scenario, ‘A 2020 Vision’ in the last session of the first day. See News below regarding privilege offers to its members.

With the promotion of PSF2015 in full swing, the Chinese New Year Special and the Special Offer to Manufacturers from Emerging Countries will expire on 5th March. If you have missed previous offers, grab this last chance to register for PSF2015.

Please pass this e-newsletter to your colleagues, counterparts and vendors and remind them of registration.

Look forward to seeing you in three weeks.

Best regards
