| In recent years, the 5th Growth Ch. Clerc Milon, owned and managed by Ch. Mouton Rothschild, has improved its quality noticeably. From 2012 onward, the grapes have been sorted by an optical sorting machine. Fermentation takes place with natural yeasts. The vinefication is classic, and wine is aged for 16 months in one-third of new barrels, with some older barrels from Ch. Mouton Rothschild. Stylistically, Clerc Milon is more robust than its cousin d'Armailhac. For many years, Clerc Milon has been a greeat bargain. But with ever increasing quality, the price has risen. We are fortunate to get some of 2013 and 2014 vintages, and we are pleased to make a very limited offer at first-come, first-served basis. |
