Chateau Clerc Milon is under the same ownership as Château Mouton Rothschild in Pauillac ( Baron Philippe de Rothschild), it situated between the prestigious Lafite and Mouton. Clerc Milon also has some of the oldest vines in the Médoc - the average age is 53 years - and of course the vineyards benefit from the same care and attention to detail as those at Mouton Rothschild. Lighter in style and more forward than Mouton - it does not require the extended cellaring that is mandatory for Mouton and can be approached 5-7 years after the vintage.

2008 Domaine de Chevalier

Domaine De Chevalier is one of the few Graves estates to produce both first class reds and whites. It has 35 hectares of vines, and red wine accounts for 80% of the production. Made from a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc, the wine is fermented in temperature-controlled, stainless steel vats and then matured in oak barriques (50% new) for 18 months.

2014 Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte

Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte is one of the leading estates in the Graves region.Its history stretches back over 800 years to the Crusades, with vines planted in 1365 on a gravelly plateau known as Lafitte. George Smith purchased the Graves estate in 1720, adding his name to the property. And on average, the vines are 38 years of age.

James Suckling gave out 2014 vintage a high scoreof 96, "A big black-cherry and bitter-chocolate nose leads into a rich, concentrated palate, where the fruit easily holds sway over the powerful, dry tannins. It’s these that drive everything along right through to the assertive, slightly earthy finish......."
