2020 was a prominent year for electric vehicles. The leading OEMs are now engaged in the e-race and customers are ready to adopt what is no longer a trend but a viable option for their daily commutes. The question of performance, maintenance costs, and range of EVs is becoming a thing of the past for customers, who are now focused on the time it takes to charge when taking their EV on a long drive. Although engineers are now proposing fast charging capabilities, optimizing battery module charging control, they must deal with pack thermal management and premature aging prevention. The ultimate objective is to find the correct balance between these attributes.
