Prior to Mintel, he worked in R&D at Procter & Gamble for over 7 years, delivering on multiple upstream beauty innovation projects. Mr. Eric Kawabata, APAC General Manager, TerraCycle Japan

Eric has worked in sustainability for 14 years, starting work with TerraCycle in 2013, he officially launched the company in Asia starting in Japan in January 2014 and subsequently became Asia Pacific Regional Manager in 2016 opening TerraCycle in China in the Fall of 2016 and TerraCycle Korea in the Fall of 2017 working with sponsors such as P&G, L’Oreal, KAO and LION.
He launched Loop, a circular shopping platform, in Japan in May 2021.

Yusriana Mohd Yusoff is currently the Head of Department for Sectoral Development in the Industry Development Division of the Halal Development Corporation Berhad (HDC). She joined HDC in 2011 and has since managed several portfolios within HDC, specifically in the area of SME’s capacity building, market access, product innovation, program development and the most recent in the sectoral development.

She will focus on discussing Halal Cosmetics Economics Outlook - Opportunities and Potential of Halal Cosmetics, Market trend and Key challenges faced by the industry in promoting and adopting Halal Cosmetics.

Daniel Nordigaarden is a Partner with McKinsey & Company based in Toronto, Canada. He is a core leader of McKinsey’s Packaging Service Line and serves clients globally, focused exclusively on the paper & packaging industry. Daniel has deep expertise across packaging substrates, end uses, and regions as well as extensive experience in strategy, operations, sustainability, and private equity. He also co-lead McKinsey’s global work around “Packaging 2030” and “Sustainability in packaging”.
