A team culture that can achieve breakthrough results in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) world is one that not only excels at communicating with key stakeholders but one that can also effectively respond to customer and marketplace opportunities. Participants in this workshop will not only gain self-awareness of their own team contributions but will also gain an understanding of what it takes to build a diverse and inclusive team culture which can thrive in a VUCA world .

This workshop utilizes concepts and exercises from Lumina Learning to help participants better understand their personalities, motivations and preferred communication styles:

  • Group Activity - Embracing Diversity in Creating a High Performing Team Culture :
    • The Four Lumina Colors and Eight Aspects ;
  • Understanding the 24 Qualities:
    • Style switching role plays to learn how to effectively communicate with different team members and potential customers;
  • Developing effective team approaches and strategies with potential customers
  • Case studies and discussions
 

About the Speaker

Greg has over 30 years of global management experience. He was the Deputy Director of International Development for Portman Properties, and interfaced with key government leaders including Mayors Wang Daohan, Jiang Zemin and Zhu Rongji. .

Greg has extensive global business experience in China, Japan, India, Europe and Latin America. He is accredited in   Lumina (Spark, Leadership, Sales and Team), which is based on the latest Big Five research paradigm, and takes a humanistic approach and viewing people as "human beings" rather than "human doings".  Lumina Learning practitioners can help organisations transform their performance by transforming their people., .

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Greg also holds a Master of International Management degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.  He has so far consulted for and coached the staff and managers of well-known companies such as Boeing, Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles, SC Johnson, Philips and InterContinental Hotels Group, just to name a few ...
