Listening Skills for Human Resources Professionals

According to a recent international survey, HR professionals and top managers spend up to 70% of their time listening to others.

But we do not always listen to what we hear. Challenges include:

  • Being to focused on our next point while others are still speaking

  • Losing track while making notes

  • Being uncomfortable when others contradict us

  • Forgetting details that we know have been told us.

With 3 easy and practical tips, you can find out how to improve your listening skills in 2 hours time; let us show you how.

Our learning event will take you through:

  • What can HR professionals gain from better listening skills?

  • What keeps us away from being good listeners?

  • What are the typical mistakes we make in listening skills?

And provide you with three simple and practical listening tactics:

  • How to make a listening-friendly communication plan.

  • Keep an open mind while listening to others.

  • Use your mind to record what you heard and felt.
