About the Speaker

Every professional job Mr. Schuster has had for the past 25 years has been about telling stories: as a medical and science journalist in the US, as international business development manager for a pharmaceutical company in China and now as corporate communications coach and trainer based in Shanghai.

Mr. Schuster had:

  • Presented seminars about storytelling for influence in business and leadership for MBA programs at the MIT-Shanghai Jiaotong University joint MBA program, and at Manchester Business School in Shanghai.

  • Coached finance teams of international companies on business presentations and led communications workshops for China-based global companies;

  • Led leadership storytelling workshops for 350 primary and middle school teachers, school psychologists and school leaders.

At the same time, Mr. Schuster was the 2012 Speech Evaluation Contest Champion for North China, a contest sponsored by Toastmasters International, established in 1924 to promote excellence in public speaking and leadership.
