Making Enterprise SOCIAL
|
Through HKSEC, we want to encourage the youth to think out of the box, by using innovative
technologies and systems to develop sustainable social enterprises that
generate revenue while promoting social good.
|
For example, one Hong Kong manufacturer with a retail chain is producing
affordable low-priced consumer electronics goods for the elderly and lower
income groups. These disadvantaged groups enjoy technology that keeps them in touch with their
peers, while the company is able to create employment opportunities for the community.
