This training workshop is in collaboration with SCAD Hong Kong, one of the global institutions of the Savannah College of Art and Design, which is renowned as a leader in defining art and design education. We have invited Mr. Tom Gattis, the Associate Vice President of SCAD Hong Kong to conduct this workshop. Mr. Gattis previously spent seven years as a professor of Industrial Design and four years as the Chair of the Industrial Design department. Under Mr. Gattis’ leadership, the department developed with the introduction of degree programs in Industrial Design, Design Management, Service Design and Design for Sustainability, which was recognized by BusinessWeek as one of the largest and most prestigious design programs in the world. Training Workshop Outline: 1. What is Creativity and Creative Thinking? 2. Examples and Case Studies 3. HKSEC welcomes all students in diploma, bachelors, masters and doctoral degree programs offered by any participating institution and all former students who were awarded their diplomas or degrees by any participating institution from 2008 to the present are eligible to take part in the competition.
