Fuji Xerox proudly launches the industry’s first-ever innovative digital color printer with gold/silver dry ink technology

Fuji Xerox (Hong Kong) proudly presents the brand new Color 1000i Press, the ground-breaking digital printing system with gold/silver dry ink technology, officially launched on 29 May. This revolutionary printing technology has turned the page to a new phase in digital printing!

Color 1000i Press is specially designed to deliver a unique metallic appearance, enhance cost-effectiveness, and achieve diversified and customized digital production. The biggest breakthrough of this innovation is the adoption of Fuji Xerox’s exclusive Low Gloss Dry Ink formulation, providing the industry’s maximum 2400 x 2400 dpi resolution. A vibrant color image and a wider range of colors competitive with offset printing quality can be achieved. Color 1000i Press is the first printing device that can deliver direct output of gold/silver color exhibiting the results of Pantone 871C and 877C as well as an output of gold foil stamping and metallic effect.

The efficiency is significantly enhanced by omitting the traditional detached gilding process while saving production costs. Equipped with the Full Width Array and Automated Color Quality Suite, Color 1000i Press reduces the manual workload in color management, contributing to a better ease of use and consistency in color. The device can accommodate paper from lightweight 55 gsm to 350 gsm at a speed of 100 ppm. As a result, the optimal sheet flatness and stack quality can be achieved. Its Auto Sheet Clearing can also improve productivity without the need for manual operated jam recovery.

Color 1000i Press not only gives rise to more personalized and innovative printing applications, but also brings about breakthroughs in productivity and cost-efficiency.

Fuji Xerox (Hong Kong) volunteers joined HSBC Share-to-Care Volunteer Campaign to deliver love and blessings to the less privileged

On 17th May, 60 colleagues and their family members participated in HSBC Share-to-Care Volunteer Campaign, organized by Agency For Volunteer Service, showing their care and love to the less privileged. The volunteers were divided into three teams, namely “Strong”, “Kind” and “Interesting”, which are the core elements of “Good Company” concept CSR management philosophy of Fuji Xerox (Hong Kong).

The three teams visited 80 families in Wong Tai Sin that day and gave out caring packs and 200 silk flowers which were hearty gifts handmade by our colleagues. We sincerely hope that the needy could feel our care and love through the visit and gifts. At the same time, the colleagues and their family members could know more about the need of the less fortunate community and receive the joy that “it is more blessed to give than to receive.”

To encourage our colleagues to be more proactively engaged in volunteer service, Fuji Xerox (Hong Kong) has established the Community Award since 2012 to reward colleagues who have made outstanding CSR contributions. In 2014, the company donated HK$10,000 on behalf of the top three volunteers to the selected charities, including World Vision Hong Kong, Hong Kong Cancer Fund and the Hong Kong Society for the Deaf.
