Synopsis:
Mahendra, a down on his luck chain- wallah (a destitute worker who fixes broken zippers on the street) pulls his twelve year old son Siddharth out of school and sends him to Delhi to illegally work in a factory in order to help support the family. When Siddharth fails to return home some weeks later, his anxious parents fear that he may have been taken by child-traffickers. Increasingly worried and desperate but with little money, few resources, and no connections, Mahendra embarks on a quest across India to find his son. In this heart wrenching tale that shows that a parents’ love for their child is beyond the bounds of country, culture, circumstances or economics, we join in the pursuit, hoping beyond hope that whatever has befallen Siddharth, he will return unharmed.

Co-produced by J-Horror icon Takashi Shimizu, and reuniting some of the original cast members of the classic Mr. Vampire series, RIGOR MORTIS is set in a creepy and moody Hong Kong public housing tower whose occupants we soon discover, run the gamut from the living to the dead, to the undead, along with ghosts, vampires and zombies.

Synopsis:
Once a famous chef, Hao’s Chinese restaurant is now an unpopular destination. He despises the fact that people nowadays do not respect traditional dishes and he has become a bitter old man. Hao’s only hope is that his grandson Mark enters a prestigious university, but Mark’s dream is to follow his grandfather’s footsteps and become a chef.

Hao’s restaurant is on the verge of bankruptcy and he finally collapses. In order to save the restaurant, Mark enters a TV cooking contest in Shanghai, called Final Recipe. He competes against talented young chefs from around the region and freely shows off ravishing cooking skills that he has accumulated from his grandfather over the years. Meanwhile, contest producer Julia (Michelle Yeoh) hopes that her husband and world-renowned chef David (Chin Han) enters the contest and rediscovers his love for cooking. As Mark wins round after round and gains attention, Julia slowly realizes that Mark and her husband David shares a secret that they don’t yet know.
