Biennial Report |
I'm pleased to share with you the ICTI CARE Foundation's second biennial report, Creating Continuous Improvement in the Workplace, a Review of ICTI CARE Process Activities 2008/9 which can now be accessed online. We encourage you to read about our work and continued efforts to advance health, safety and labor standards in factories where toys and other products are manufactured.
The report covers in detail the organization's achievements and progress during the past two years, including key initiatives such as our expanded education and training programs that promote capacity building for factory managers, workers and auditors, and our new Continuous Improvement Process which helps factories achieve compliance with ICTI CARE Process wages and working hours requirements. You will also find information about the ways we engage key stakeholder groups---auditors, factories, brands, retailers, associations, NGOs and governments---to leverage our joint expertise and strengthen the ICTI CARE Process.
We have made significant strides since our 2007 report and are extremely grateful to those individuals and organizations that have contributed their time, expertise and resources to make this possible.
