The ICTI CARE Process has for several years worked to improve conditions and workplace practices in the toy industry.  Over the years, the ICTI CARE Process has learned a great deal about the challenges in toy manufacturing as well as how best to improve factory conditions.

Recent experience in China has shown the need for us to better understand the challenges that each of you face. We decided that to better serve ICTI CARE Process supporters and participants, we needed to solicit feedback and comments from our toy factory participants and supporters on how the program can be enhanced and where necessary to give greater focus.
近年来,在中国的经验已使我们有必要更深入了解大家所面临的挑战。我们已经决定,若是希望能为国际玩具工业理事协会的支持者和朋友们更有效地服务,我们需要直接从玩具厂的朋友和支持者那里征求反馈和意见来研究如何改善这个项目。

Last year, we surveyed our membership and supporters and the response was outstanding.  We are once again calling on you to provide us valuable feedback.  We are pleased to announce our 2011survey, which we are launching through this letter.  The aim of this year’s survey is to learn more about your issues, challenges and initiatives as well as build on last year’s wage and working hours benchmark.  The survey will take 30 minutes of your time and it has approximately 70 questions. 
 去年,我们对协会成员以及支持者做过调查,反映效果很不错。因此我们再次请求您提供宝贵意见。我们很高兴通过此信函发起2011年的调查。今年的调查是以去年的工资工时为基准,其目的是为了更多的了解您遇到的问题,挑战,以及一些新的解决方案。该项调查需要30分钟时间,大概有70个左右的问题。

We would appreciate your candid feedback, suggestions and ideas.  Specifically, we would encourage you to give us your comments that will help give us better insight into your business challenges.  The survey will also pick up and build on last year’s working hours and wages insights, while also for the first time asking about environment and capacity building.

Finally and most importantly, this survey is conducted by an independent third party organization and is 100% anonymous.  We do not know the name of the person who has given comments or the company from which they are from.  The feedback we receive from this survey will be used by the ICTI CARE Process for its internal planning efforts only.  Therefore, please be candid.  We can only improve the ICTI CARE Process if we can get detailed and candid feedback from you.
