1) New Territories Walk - By Community Chest on March 15, 2015
As AIESEC Alumni Association of Hong Kong (AAAHK) will involve in the New Territories Walk organized by The Community Chest on March 15, 2015, we sincerely encourage all AIESEC alumni, AIESEC student members, AIESEC interns to bring along with your friends to participate into this charity walk and help contributing to the society which is specifically for providing appropriate caring and supportive services⋯⋯ to “Children and Youth”.

Venue: From Pak Shek Kok Promenade (near Science Park) to Tai Po Waterfront Park (The total distance is 5.5 km and it takes around 2 hours to complete)

(1) Bring your FORM and COLLECTED DONATION to the Charity Walk venue
(2) Gathering at the place of "Golden Egg" inside Science Park at 8:30am on time (see the picture of the event in this newsletter)
(3) Call Ivan Chiu at 97222120 if you cannot find the gathering venue
(4) Bring a bottle of water, umbrella, jacket, etc. necessary for yourself;
(5) We shall have lunch gathering together in Tai Po.

2) AAAHK as a supporting organization for Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge 2014
AIESEC Alumni Association of Hong Kong (AAAHK) will be one of the supporting organizations of Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge 2014. Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge (HKSEC), a social venture business plan competition organized by the Center for Entrepreneurship of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, has been at the frontier in educating students and the general public about social enterprises in Hong Kong. We strongly encourage all AIESEC young alumni or students to participate into the competition to gain more experience and knowledge on Social Enterprise.
HKSEC 2014 Grand Final Presentation
After the keen competition between the 24 Semi Finalist Teams, the selected 8 Grand Final Teams will compete on the Grand Final Presentation Day. Two winning teams will be selected and they will be offered Startup Awards of up to HK$60,000 per member, while members of the Runner-up Teams will receive up to HK$30,000 each to start their social enterprises.

3) International Start Ups Meeting 2015 in Manila, The Philippines on June, 2015
ISUM (International Start Ups Meeting) is a perfect space for bringing entrepreneurs, investors and professionals together to create new global businesses.
Pitch sessions and startup challenge
If you are ready to pitch in front of a jury of advisors and investors, ISUM will be your opportunity to test and receive immediate feedback. Generally structured as a 5 minute pitch and 10 minutes of questions & answers, each ISUM includes local best practices.
Workshops and panel discussions
You will learn how to sort through new ideas from fellow entrepreneurs, market to target customers, write an effective business plan, build and manage your team, create partnership agreements, and raise funds with business angels and/or VCs.
Exchange of experience among an international mix of startup founders
There will be several opportunities to meet entrepreneurs and investors throughout the session. Sharing ideas, successes and challenges may identify an idea that was successful in one country, and may be successful in your own country.
ISUM gives priority for registration to AIESECers and AIESEC alumni entrepreneurs but it is an open meeting: local entrepreneurs who are not AIESECers could bring attention to their startup as well, notably if they want their startup to grow internationally.

4) AIESEC Alumni International Congress 2015 in Porto, Portugal from April 9 to 12, 2015
AIESEC Alumni International Congress (AAIC) 2015 will be hosted in beautiful Porto, Portugal from April 9th to 12th 2015. Be sure to save the date for this global reunion of AIESEC alumni and current AIESEC members! It will be an opportunity to take an active part in the AIESEC Alumni International Transformation Project, elect new Executive Board members for AIESEC Alumni International (AAI) and hear all about the new online platform in making: AlumNet.
