The 10th “Her Presence in Colors – International Women Artists Exhibition 2012,” major organized by the headquarter of International Women Artists Council (INWAC), Malaysia, and jointly organized by INWAA – Vietnam and Women Club, Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association. The opening ceremony will be held in June 24th afternoon. Artists will be coming from 22 countries and 207 artists will be participating in the event. Ms Cissy Cheung, the president of both Hong Kong Art of Nature Int’l Feminist Art Research Society and INWAC – Hong Kong, will lead the brilliant female artists from Hong Kong region to take part in such honorable event. Members include Lam Sau, Kwong Kim-Ming, Cheng Yuk-Fung, Li Li, Au Yeung Wing-Mui, and Rona Hu.
Ms Cissy Cheung will represent INWAC – Hong Kong to give a speech at the Art Seminar at the HCMC Fine Arts University. The topic is “Characteristics of Chinese female artists’ Ideology.” It describes Chinese female artists’ characteristics in art creation and compare and contrast between eastern and western female aesthetic expression and ideology.
President Ms. Cissy Cheung adheres to the idea “Art creates a better life” and endeavors to promote local and overseas artists’ research and spread. She highly involves in organizing and participating in all sorts of exhibitions which further enhances the cultural exchange and cooperation between China and foreign countries. Ms. Cissy Cheung is specialized in promoting female artists research and development and helps to raise the status and image of female artists in the art world.
