The 22nd Edition of Shanghai Art Fair, organized by Shanghai Cultural Development Foundation, is one of the most influential and highly internationalized art fairs in Asia. Opens from October 8th to 11th. Art of Nature brings artworks of 20 artists with art academic background from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well as those who studied abroad in Europe and America in Booth A10-A13 in Glory Asia Pavilion Section. Together with other 40 galleries, to present the latest Asian arts to the public.
Art of Nature will bring 20 artists and have 4 booths in Glory Asia Pavilion Section.
1. A12
Artists Lam Man Kong, Wong Sau Ching, Xu Chenyang, Yang Kai, Hui Yan Ki and Bo Yun (Li Yongcun) are all art advisors from Art of Nature. They are artists with extensive overseas art backgrounds and distinct art styles. Their artworks have been widely collected by international institutions. Ink painting by young artist Yu Fuxing and professional painter Yang Yanling are exquisite and elegant, young sculptor Wang Li Wei uses leather to create figure sculptures, with a soft and livelihood approach to distance from traditional sculpture.

Professional artists from Taiwan, Chen Chung Cheng who has over 20-year experience in oil painting, Hu Ta-Hua, who invented metal mosaic, Lee Shin, a dentist- turned painter and a flamenco dancer, Yang Tze-Yun, the earliest calligrapher who turned the characters in a non-character’s way, and Chang Chien Hsiang, the Chairman of Taiwan-Japan Art Association. These diverse artworks show their enthusiasm and passion for art.

Female artists from Hong Kong, including Aisin Gioro‧Hangkam, Judy Chiang, Liu Jia, Xu Hongyan and Annie Chan. From the descendants of Royal Family in Qing Dynasty to fashion industry, from Chinese meticulous painting to freehand painting, from figurative art to abstract art. Their works represent the beauty and independence of Chinese female artists.

Thangka, line drawing and Mandala from artist Lama Jamyang. His works are meticulous and sacred representing the world of Buddha. The latest and most significant work is the 6-meter-long Thangka titled Tsongkhapa, started from 2016 and completed in 2018. Master Tsongkhapa is in the middle of the work, and he is regarded as the Manjushri, the symbol of wisdom and brightness, by Tibetans. The work is immensely spectacular.
