Inspired by the different status of lotus in four seasons, the contemporary color ink lotus under artist Wang Shouqing stays fresh, calm yet variegated. Artistic scarves have been produced by taking the charm of the original artwork. The selflessly of the silkworms and the purity of the lotus, the creativity of arts and the life enjoyment, all these are fused together and come into a product which is not simply for appreciation, but a fine gauze which shows female’s elegance and grace.
As a cultural symbol, lotus carries beautiful longing. It is also the city flower of Macao. In this exhibition, Wong’s “Lotus” series and the lotus series scarves further shade lights on the first art expo in Macao.
