The Hong Kong Arts Development Council and the Hong Kong Arts Promotion Office, Hong Kong Oil Painting Research Society, and Hong Kong Culture and Art Foundation jointly present the《Hong Kong Invitational Oil Painting Exhibition 2013》from 15 to 21 Aug in Hong Kong Central Library Exhibition Hall.
This a major oil painting exhibition as a continuation of last year’s 《1st Hong Kong Oil Painting Competition 2012》. It is a remarkable event in art and cultural circle. After a year of thorough preparation and planning, 165 oil paintings are selected from 74 artists in the territory amongst the oldest of 85 and the youngest of 25 years old. They are all active artists in Hong Kong with works of diverse styles and dazzling charm. Contribute to the Hong Kong art scene of exploration in configuration and appearances, this is a splendid gathering of territory-wide art activity, simultaneously an unforgettable visual and spiritual experiment of pleasure; worthy of admiration.
