“Reconnection with Hong Kong – Art Of Nature, Contemporary Arts” Exhibition was grandly opened at Hong Kong City Hall on 14 Jul 2010
The Art Of Nature International Company Limited had its ever-the-most splendid art exhibition grandly opened at Hong Kong City Hall on 14 July 2010. The exhibition, named “Reconnection with Hong Kong – Art Of Nature, Contemporary Arts”, attracted numerous visitors from political, scholastic and commercial field. Our participating Overseas-Chinese artists, including Lin Minggang, Wang Shouqing, Xu Enqi, Lu Weihua, Lin Mingchen, Yu Shan, Yang Kai, Rona Hu, Chu Tat-shing, Chen Baoguo, Su Fan and Gong Rongzu, demonstrated their ingenious creativity to raise Hong Kong citizens’ awareness on the wholesome prospect of contemporary Chinese art.
It was our greatest honor to have the presence of these Guests-of-Honor to officiate our Opening Ceremony. They were:

Prof. Vincent Tong, Ms. Mi Jihong and Mr. Christopher Chung gave their congratulatory speeches respectively. Prof. Vincent Tong stated that, there was a wholesome room for academic collaboration between the Art Of Nature and the CUHK Department of Fine Arts, for a common emphasis on the pursuit of Chinese culture and the promotion of Sino-Western aesthetic exchanges. Ms. Mi Jihong was grateful with the contributions of our participating artists, for their ability to connect art development in Mainland China with the patriotic sentiments of Hong Kong citizens. Ms. Mi hoped that, there would be more organizations that shared the similar mission with the Art Of Nature in the aspect of pushing forward the development of creative industry in Hong Kong. Mr. Christopher Chung stated that, it was a heartfelt wish of Hong Kong Arts Development Council to cordially welcome distinguished art talents from both Mainland and Overseas to showcase their creative discoveries in HKSAR, so as to strengthen the aesthetic awareness of Hong Kong citizens. Lin Minggang was spiritually motivated to develop a thankful speech to reward the tremendous supports from various authorities, as their participation gave him much encouragement for him and other artists to make stylistic breakthroughs. as their participation gave him much encouragement for him and other artists to make stylistic breakthroughs. Lin’s huge oil painting, called “The Night View of Hong Kong”, was recorded with his passion on the elegant views of Victoria Harbor. The size of this painting was 170 cm x 360 cm, and the urban landscapes were portrayed in the manner of impressionism and pointillism. The Opening Ceremony ended with touching episodes, as all the participating artists gathered onto the stage and received applauses from widespread visitors. “Reconnection with Hong Kong: Art Of Nature, Contemporary Arts” marked a significant page for our entrepreneurial mission. The Art Of Nature commits to the art prospect of Hong Kong, thus we endeavor to push forward the frequent art exchange among Mainland China, Hong Kong, Asia and the West. By a comprehensive absorption of wisdoms from the arts of different civilizations, we would be very confident to exploit more innovative concepts and transform all kinds of “crossover” aesthetic possibilities into precious jewels for a sustainable development in cultural industries. This Exhibition raised a widespread awareness both within the fine-art academia and in our society. Prof. Vincent Tong Kam-tang, Head of Graduate Division of Fine Arts in the CUHK Department of Fine Arts; Prof. Peng Feng, Aesthetic Education Research Center of Beijing University; Mr. Poon Yiu-ming, Editor-in-chief of Ming Pao Monthly; Prof. Hou Jun, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Shenzhen Press Group; Mr. Gu Zhenqing, Famous Contemporary Art Curator and so forth had contributed prefaces or congratulatory messages for our art publications. Wen Hui Pao, Ta Kung Pao, Sing Tao Daily News and other journalists made interviews during the Opening Ceremony. The Phoenix Satellite Television Broadcast conducted an individual interview with Lin Minggang, so as to report the splendid episode of our entire ceremony. The “Cultural Star” of Shenzhen Press Group put “Reconnection with Hong Kong” exhibition as its prior news column. The tranquility and elegance, preserved by our participating artists, corresponded to our ideal called “Art For The Betterment Of Life”. The artists instilled much fresh air to the clumsy circuit of contemporary art. Right after the Opening Ceremony, the government and the collectors decided to collect our exhibited paintings.
