The Art Of Nature supports “Homemade Colors: Inaugural Exhibition of the Hong Kong Oil Painting Research Society” in HKU Gallery and Art Museum
Lin Minggang, a French-based artist from the Art Of Nature International Company Limited, is aspired to introduce Hong Kong citizens with the trend of oil-painting appreciation. The Hong Kong Oil Painting Research Society, established by Lin, endeavors to connect with the enthusiastic oil painters within Hong Kong art circuit, as well as organizing joint exhibitions to recruit potential talents for making contributions to the prosperity of painting art in Hong Kong.
The Museum & Art Gallery of the University of Hong Kong invites Lin Minggang to curate an oil-painting exhibition as a celebration for the 100th anniversary of H.K.U’s establishment. The theme of this exhibition is “Homemade Colors: Inaugural Exhibition of the Hong Kong Oil Painting Research Society”. The Art Of Nature International Company Limited feels very honored to accommodate with the corresponding work in publicity by becoming Lin’s. It lasts from 24 March to 15 May, with Mr. Lam Shu Chit (SBS), Standing Committee Member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, as the Guest-of-Honor in its opening ceremony. Paintings in this exhibition demonstrate public with diversified approaches of aesthetic expression, including Impressionism, Realism, Abstractism, Surrealism and so forth. They imply that, the authors are much influenced by their Chinese cultural background despite their persistence on Western methodologies. Therefore, they manifested oil medium to present how they were thanksgiving with the harmonious spirits of Confucian life.
