On 18 June 2011, “A Contemporary Art Exhibition for the Establishment of Art Of Nature Saloon”, organized by MSC Group and Art Of Nature International Company Limited, coorganized by Fuzhou Muncipal CPPCC Academy of Fine Arts and Taiwan Kaohsiung Po-yih Museum of Fine Arts, was grandly officiated at the Fuzhou Art Of Nature Exhibition Gallery.
Being regarded as an important session for creative economy in “The 9th 6.18 China Cross-Strait Project Achievement Exchange Conference”, “A Contemporary Art Exhibition for the Establishment of Art Of Nature Saloon” successfully gathered a group of renowned Fujianese artists, such as Li Xiaowei, Shen Ye and Lin Feng. For the distinguished Fujianese artists with overseas studying background, we had Lin Minggang, Wang Shouqing, Xu Enqi and so forth to dedicate their artistic fruits. Moreover, we’ve invited Taiwanese artists such as Chen Kuan, Hsu Chui-hwa and Chuang Ya-tung. There’re altogether 30 onward artists from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. 140 distinguished art pieces are currently shown to the public, which include oil paintings, Chinese paintings, porcelain paintings, sculptures, installations and other types of creative mediums. Audiences can perceive diversified thematic approaches from such an exhibition with an enormous scale in curatorship.
Nearly 300 guests, including artists, collectors and entrepreneurs from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Beijing and so forth, participated in the discussion forum and the contemporary art exhibition. From the art pieces, a strong sense of visual strike and awesomeness can be perceived. Some of the art pieces are currently possessed by collectors.
The establishment of “Art Of Nature International Saloon” marks a fact that, the first-ever international art saloon in Fujian Province emerges. This saloon aims at strengthening the aesthetic exchanges among Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Asia, Europe and the United States. It becomes a focal point for artists, art theorists and art collectors to develop friendships and collaborations. For sure, the Art Of Nature International Saloon is willing to devote its utmost effort in pushing forward the prosperity of Chinese fine arts and the sustainable development of creative economy in Modern China.
Lots of press media greatly acknowledged the contribution of our art saloon. Reporters from Xinhua Net, People Net, Fujianese television channels, online media and graphic media gathered in the opening ceremony of Art Of Nature International Saloon. They described our contemporary approach of curatorship with positive comments.
On the day of Opening Ceremony, our Curator also organized a discussion forum titled as “The Inheritance of Contemporary Arts & Traditional Arts”. During the forum, Mr. Zhang Xinjian, Leader of PRC Cultural Bureau, stated that, there’re unique geographical features and a sophisticated level of historial development. Zhang stressed that, under a collision between traditional and contemporary norms, the contemporary culture of Fujianese art further demonstrates its liberal-mindedness, forbearance, diversity and creativeness. This can be regarded as the best interpretation on the inheritance of both traditional and contemporary art. Zhang greatly acknowledged the contributions of Art Of Nature in terms of establishing the first-ever international art saloon.
“A Contemporary Art Exhibition for the Establishment of Art Of Nature Saloon” is our first-ever self-motivated exhibition in Fujian. It lasts from 18 June to 18 July. This is regarded as another cultural event in Fujianese art circuit with much academic significance after the “Haixi Affection” exhibition in 2010. While promoting the wholesome spirit of Fujianese aesthetics, we are also providing widespread art lovers with a splendid platform to appreciate elegant art creations! |
