An impressive effort, this 2004 Medoc exhibits a dense ruby/purple color in addition
to aromas of blueberries, blackberries, white flowers, and subtle new oak. A creamy texture,
a fleshy, full-bodied palate, and surprising purity as well as intensity suggest this beauty
should drink well for a decade.  Drink Now to 2016.

A sexy sleeper of the vintage from Lussac St.-Emilion, the 2005 Pont de Pierre boasts a dense
ruby/purple color as well as aromas of charcoal, espresso roast, sweet currants and cherries,
and a touch of incense. A broad, endearing, seductive mouthfeel, medium to full body,
and no hard edges suggest it can be enjoyed now to 2018.


        


3. Chateau Plaisance Cuvee Excellence 2005 (Cotes de Bourg)

A big-time sleeper of this hallowed vintage, this blend of 60% Merlot, 15% Malbec,

and a long, silky finish. Drink now to 2018.
