WM. 95+ Points

    mix of  6+bottles - $110/b (Market Price $250/b)

WM Tasting Note:
Apple and apricot laced smells of soursop, resin and overripe honeydew melon,
which then inform a broad, oily, moderately juicy mid-palate. Kessler Zink Franz Friedrich Spatlese,
whose oily texture offers a delightful foil to its pungent and incisive elements, carrying into an
impressively sustained finish.  This ought to perform well for at least 4-5 years.  Drink Now to 2018.

WM. 95 Points

 mix of 6+bottles - $110/b (Market Price $250/b)

WM Tasting Note:
Kessler Zink Rheinhessen 2012 Riesling trocken delivers fresh lemony juiciness
augmented with smoky, crushed stone, and mouthwateringly saline mineral mysteries,
leading to a positively shimmering and sustained finish. This sparely-textured yet rounded
as well as generously juicy bottling is (based on its ex-cellars price) bound to represent
excellent value.  Drink Now to 2018.

3. Kessler Zink Pinot Noir Eiswein 2010
(Rheinhessen, Ice Wine Germany)
WM. 96 Points

mix of 3+bottles - $255/b (Market Price $510/b)

Wine Information
he highest quality of German wines. Highly concentrated, sweet, fruity and very rare
Icewine is a speciality of German wine-growing. The grapes must be picked in a winter
night by hand at an outside temperature of -7 degree Celsius, so the part of water is frozen
in the grapes and only the sugar, the flavors and the extracts of the ripe and frozen grapes
get out during the pressing. Smell of ripe melons and also honey. Taste of sweet tropical
fruits like lychee, honey-melon and brown sugar.

WM Tasting Note:

This German Eiswein from Rheinhessen calls attention immediately with its yellow color with
golden shadow and its bouquet of honeyed date, beeswax and white flowers. The rich flavors
of ripe mango and pineapple are supported by medium acidity and a peppery aftertaste in its
medium-length finish. A great sweet wine to enjoy with blue cheese like
Roquefort and Fourme d'Ambert.

4. Weinhaus Kessler Spatlese 2011
(Rheinhessen, Germany)
WM Rating: 93+ points

mix of 6+bottles - $98/b (Market Price $198/b)

WM Tasting Note:

This Spätlese is made from late harvested Riesling which has more sugar

and peach flavours and fresh aromas coming from citrus. Rich layers and well-balanced
white wine. Recommended serving temperature: 10-12°C.

5. Weinhaus Kessler Riesling 2011
(Rheinhessen, Germany)
WM Rating: 93+ points

mix of 6+bottles - $98/b (Market Price $198/b)
WM Tasting Note:
Riesling is a white wine with fruity character. Mild, light and fresh white wine with an
easy style and an expressive sweetness. The very low figure of acid makes it a good
partner with light and spicy seafood.

Made from first-rate Riesling grapes, this wine carries its light yellow color with golden
shadow like a badge of honor. The unique bouquet of straw, dried fruits and candied fruits
complements an off-dry taste characterized by a rich fruitiness of peach, pear and apple,
leading to a gentle, nutty finish. The wise would pair this proud German white with slightly
spicy food, such as Sichuan-style dishes.
