Tasting Note:
Chateau Potensac is owned by the Delon family. The Delon family better known for their famous
property in St. Julien, Leoville Las Cases. Located in and Chateau Nenin in Pomerol.

Wonderful aromas of blueberries, currants and flowers follow through to a full body, with ultra fine tannins
and a gorgeous finish. Best Potensac in years.  Even better than the 2009.

R.Parker Tasting Note:
The strongest Prieure Lichine produced in many years, along with consultant Stephane Derenoncourt,
the proprietors have fashioned a wine with true opulence as well as wonderful projected aromatics of blue,
red and black fruits, licorice, flowers and subtle oak. Silky tannins, a sexy, generous, opulent attack,
mid-palate and finish, no hard edges and well-integrated acidity, tannin and alcohol (14.5%)
are all found in this impressive Margaux. Give it 2-5 years of cellaring and drink it over the following 25.
It is potentially one of the longest lived wines made at Prieure Lichine since some of their classic efforts from the sixties.
Drink Now to 2025.

R. Parker Tasting Note:
One of the best Talbots over recent years, and possibly the best since the 1986 and 1982,
this sexy juggernaut of a wine struts forth with an opaque plum/ruby/purple color and terrific notes
of creme de cassis, licorice, roasted herbs and smoky barbecue. It is a brilliant effort, with full body,
wonderful fruit, a savory, expansive mouthfeel, sensational texture and a long finish, but no hardness
or astringency. This is a fabulous Talbot to drink over the next 20-25 years.  Drink Now to 2038.

Gilbert & Gaillard Tasting Note:
Deep garnet-red. Profound nose intermixing ripe fruit, liquorice and Indian ink. A well-structured wine
showing good acidity, length and focused fruit. A well-built wine.  Drink Now to 2022.

Our Tasting Note:
Nice concentration and density here compared to other St Julien reds. Good to see that the
winemaking team was able to balance the dense tannins with the fresh flavour profile.
Flavours range from cassis, blackberries to fresh Chinese red dates.
A great Beychevelle given the vintage conditions.  Drink Now to 2023.
