Tasting Note:
The 2002 Struie is 100% Shiraz from Barossa and Eden Valleys. It spent 18 months in 20% new French oak.
A glass-coating opaque purple color, it sports a nose of lavender, game, bacon, and blueberry.
Medium to full-bodied, it is light on its feet despite its size, dense, and layered. It has enough
fine-grained tannin to evolve for 2-3 years. It will offer a drinking window extending from drink now to 2018.

Reminiscent of a Rhone Valley Chateauneuf du Pape, the 2001 The Steading
is an intriguing, complex blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre, and 20% Shiraz.
Aromas of garrigue, Provencal herbs, pepper, black cherries, raspberries, and currants
are followed by a medium to full-bodied red possessing great fruit, surprising elegance,
and loads of complexity. It will provide plenty of pleasure over the next 5-7 years. Drink Now to 2018
