 Special
 (HKD125/b)

Grape: 70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc
Age 12 moths France Oak barral

Tasting Note:
2005 Cafol good concentration with a very long length of mouth, purple, deep and intense garnet.
Wild berries and ripe red fruit, with hints of leather, and light spices.  The attack is powerful but finesse.
Small berries are expressed early in mouth before giving way to ripe red fruits, ending on otes spices and leather.
The tannic structure still present on this 2005 that melts in your mouth, to give a very nice long finish.  Drink Now to 2018.

2. Chateau L'Esperance 2008
(Bordeaux Superieur)
(Owned by Chateau Gruaud Larose)
WM. Rating: 94 Points,
Concours General Agricole de Paris - Gold Medal ,

 Special (HKD125/b)

Tasting Note:

This wine expanded its mid-palate, and the tannin has become sweeter and better integrated.
A black/purple color is followed by intense aromas of cherry liqueur, cassis, smoke, dried herbs,
and leather. Heady, ripe, medium to full-bodied, this effort has good weight and overall balance.
Drink Now to 2018.

3. Chateau Francs Magnus 2011
(Bordeaux Superieur)
WM. Rating: 94 Points,
James Suckling Rating: 90 points,

 Special
 (HKD125/b)

Information:
Located in Fronsac, Chateau Francs Magnus garnered its reputation when sold to Comte de la Rivière in 1560.

In 2011, Arnaud Roux-Oulié acquired this unique property where the terroir contributes to the mineral
character and elegance of this wine. Like many nearby Saint Emilion Grands Crus, Chateau Franc Magnus
sits atop a bed of chalky soil that houses a hidden treasure deep below: two kilometers of limestone passages
that wind underneath the vineyard.

Resembling great wines from Saint Emilion, the Vins & Passions team fell in love with Chateau Franc Magnus’
aromatic opulence. It’s one of our excellent top value wines not to be missed.

Tasting Note:
Pretty nose with lots of red fruits like raspberries and red cherries. Some waxy notes, orange zest and vanilla.
Charming on the palate with delicate red fruit and medium-full body. Silky tannins and a nice pure red fruit in the
long finish. Elegant. Drinks well already, but will become more harmonious in two years time.  Drink Now to 2018.
