Dear Customar

To celebrate the Five Anniversary of the company,
Featured Spain "Master of Wine - Mr. Norrel Robertson"
with a special price to the customer.

Mr. Norrel Robertson MW Information:
"Hi Angels,

I have been making wine in Spain for over 10 years and I am currently
the only Master of Wine living and working in Spain! I became a Master of Wine in November 2000.

In 2002-2003 I studied the Postgraduate Viticulture and Oenology course
at Lincoln University in Christchurch, New Zealand, obtaining my postgraduate qualification with distinction.

In 2003, I moved to Spain as Winemaker for International Wine Services and quickly
fell in love with the old Garnacha vineyards in the area of Calatayud and Campo de Borja,
Aragon and decided to start making my own wines.

My company - EL ESCOCÉS VOLANTE SL (The Flying Scotsman) took off and I now currently
produce many award winning wines made from very specially selected vineyards at high altitude
in Aragon, Spain and I also have winemaking projects in Murcia, Andalucia and Galicia.

My love for wine started via a part time job in Oddbins whilst studying politics at University.
After running a Fine Wine store in Edinburgh and a brief stint selling En Primeurs in London,
I moved to a buying position with Scottish & Newcastle. Whilst starting my MW studies,
I worked harvest in Chianti Classico (Tenuta di Arceno) and my dream of making wine took flight.
I subsequently decided to learn how to make wine from the cellar up and travelled with vintage stints
in Portugal (Esporao in Alentejo and Quinta de la Rosa in Douro), Adelaide Hills (Nepenthe),
Loire Valley (Vinival) and South America (2001 Maule Valley and 2003 Casablanca Valley with
Jorge Coderche and Michel Laroche) before studying in New Zealand.

Currently I rent space in two wineries in Aragon but my dream is to keep on buying machinery
and grapes so that I can keep my business blossoming and ultimately set up my own winery.

I really hope you enjoy my wines from Northern Spain - I'm looking forward to hearing what you all think!"

Purple-colored, it offers up an alluring bouquet including garrigue notes, spice box, lavender, black cherry,
and blueberry. This is followed by a velvety-textured wine with layers of savory fruit, a sense of elegance,
complex flavors, and a lengthy, pure finish. Drink now to 2018.

Infomation 2010 Tasting Note:
'Flying Scotsman' Norrel Robertson is a well-travelled and studied Master of Wine, who has sourced
blocks of old, low yielding vines and collaborated with local growers in the Calatayud region, to produce
this quality Garnacha, Syrah and Monastrell blend. Lifted aromas of raspberry and black cherry are
enhanced on the palate by complex notes of pepper, herbs and vanilla. Drink this wine with fairly full dishes,
