1. Chateau Noble Meynard 2005
Bordeaux Superieur

WM Rating: 93 Points
Special case price $1416/Case (about $118/b)

Grape: 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon & 5% Cabernet Franc.
Ageing 12 months France Oak berral.

Tasting Note:
This wine, with a very dark, deep, red colour, comes with a nose of black cherry enhanced by minty touches. A wine with an elegant flavour thanks to its strong backbone of ripe tannins.  Its long, pleasant finish make it ideal for drinking with a pepper steak or a sirloin steak cooked over vine shoots.  Drink Now to 2016.

2. Chateau Calendreau 2005
Bordeaux

WM Rating: 93 Points
Special case price $1176/Case (about $98/b)

Grape: 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon & 20% Cabernet Franc.

Information:
Located in the town of Saint-André-du-Bois, Chateau Calendreau Gallès belongs to the family for four generations. Oriented on the sunny face of the Garonne valley slopes, the vineyard is planted on clay-limestone with an area of 36 ha. The average age of the vines is 20 years.

Tasting Note:
Calendreau castle has a beautiful ruby intense blackcurrant nose, red fruit with clove notes. On the palate the attack is supple with a structure well-rounded and fruity aftertaste long and balance.  Drink Now to 2016.

3. Chateau Jaussan 2011
Languedoc

WM Rating: 93 Points
Special case price: $1296/Case (about $108/b)

Tasting Note:
The Chateau Jaussan 2011 Corbieres (from 30% Carignan, 45% Grenache, and 25% Syrah) represents their first wine aged in barrique, and I am happy to say it has gone well. Purple plum, back cherry, fennel and roasted meats on the nose presage a texturally rich palate loaded with black fruits, licorice, and chocolate, with bitter notes of cherry stone adding contrast, and resinous notes from the barrel well-contained.  Drink Now to 2018.

4. Chateau Fontenelles 2011
Corbieres

WM Rating:
 95+

Points
Concours Mondial de Bruxelles - Gold Medal
Special case price: $1896/Case (about $158/b)

Grape: 55% Syrah, 25% Grenache, 20% Carignan & Mourvedre.
Ageing 12 months France Oak berral.

Tasting Note:
This blend, dominated by 55% syrah, will take you straight to the south of France. It really shows off the ripe, floral side of the variety with pronounced violets and candied violets, and beguiling sweet black berry and black raspberry character. The palate is fullish and framed by dusty tannins, while peppery flavours take over on the long finish. Tame the rustic edge with some protein and decant one hour before serving. (Drink Now to 2018)

5. Chateau Les Charmes de La Grange 2011
Bordeaux Superieur

WM Rating: 94 Points
Special case price: $1176/Case (about $98/b)

Tasting Note:
A blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc that hit 13% natural alcohol, the delicious 2011 is dark ruby/purple with loads of cassis, blueberry and mulberry notes. The wine displays oodles of blue, red and black fruits, medium body, terrific fruit on the attack and mid-palate, velvety tannin, and low acidity. This plump fruit bomb should drink nicely for 3-4 years.  Drink Now to 2018.
