Tasting Note:
This wine, with a very dark, deep, red colour, comes with a nose of black cherry enhanced by minty touches. A wine with an elegant flavour thanks to its strong backbone of ripe tannins.  Its long, pleasant finish make it ideal for drinking with a pepper steak or a sirloin steak cooked over vine shoots.  Drink Now to 2018.

Tasting Note:
Aged in 100% new oak (70% French and 30% American), the 2001 Shiraz Old Vine Collection is an amazing Shiraz produced from 92- to 139-year-old vines. Surprisingly, it possesses “only” 14+% alcohol.  A deep saturated purple color is followed by aromas of espresso roast, white chocolate, pepper, blackberry liqueur, and melted asphalt. This is a youthful, primary red displaying an incredible wealth of fruit, magnificent glycerin as well as depth, and a monster finish of 70+ seconds.  This stunning 2001 should hit its prime in 2-4 years, and last for 15 or more.

3. Domaine Lu Clos du Caillou 2011
(Cotes du Rhone - only 24 bottles in stock)

R.Parker Rating: 91pts
Special Case $1980/ (12 bottles per case - $165/b) (HK Market Price $320/b)
12 bottles for case

Information:
"Indian Summer", without precipitation, gave us the opportunity to harvest extremely
healthy grapes to perfect maturity.  The wines are concentrated, fruity, with good acidity, good year

The assembly is composed of four varieties: 90% Grenache, 5% Syrah, 3% Mourvedre and 2% Counoise.

Tasting Note:
As is common when comparing 2012s and 2011s of the same wine, the 2011 Cotes du Rhone is more perfumed and spice-driven, with ripe, up-front notes of black licorice, black cherry, roasted meats and ground herbs all emerging from the glass. A big, rich 2011 that has solid mid-palate depth and sweet tannin, it should be at its best over the coming 4-5 years. Drink now-2018.

4. Wine Set (Only 1 set 3/bs Ch. Les Gravieres 2009 & 3/bs Ch. Le G Blanc 2012 )
Bordeaux - (St. Emilion GC & Grave)

1. 3 bottles of Chateau Les Gravieres Grand Cru 2009 (St. Emilion - Bordeaux)
R.Parker Tasting Note:
Tremendously underrated from barrel several years ago, the 2009 Les Gravieres is the best wine proprietor Denis Barraud has ever produced. Yields were not terribly low at 38 hectoliters per hectare, but this wine (made with 100% Merlot and finishing at just under 14% alcohol) has a spectacular, even flamboyant nose of pen ink, graphite, blackberry and black currant liqueur along with hints of subtle smoke and burning embers. On the palate it is full-bodied, with outstanding intensity, a skyscraper-like mid-palate that goes on and on, and an extravagant, even luxurious finish with silky tannins and low acidity. Drink it over the next 15 or so years. Bravo!  (Drink Now to 2027).

R.Parker Rating: 93 points,
W.M Rating: 95+ points.

2. 3 bottles of Chateau Guiraud de "Le G" 2012
(Ch. Guiraud - Blanc) - 香港賽馬會指定白酒

Ch. Guiraud de "Le G" 2012 Tasting Note:
A sleeper of the vintage from this estate best known for its exquisite Sauternes, this dry, crisp, white Bordeaux is a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon. Beautiful notes of beeswax, honeysuckle, lemon oil intertwined with hints of pineapple and orange rind are found in this medium-bodied, lusciously fruity, zesty dry white. Moreover, it is available for a remarkably fair price. Enjoy it over the next 1-3 years. Bravo!
(Drink Now to 2018)
